Iran’s logic based on coop. with nations

دیدار نخست وزیر مجارستان با رهبر معظم انقلاب اسلامی

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks on Tuesday in a meeting with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in the Iranian capital, Tehran, adding “Hungarian government’s proclaimed policy on Asia is a correct one and can serve as the initiative for boosting mutual cooperation.”

The Leader deemed the current level of Iran-Hungary economic and non-economic relations ‘insufficient’, adding “Iranian nation does not have any unpleasant memory of Hungary and we hope with the existing will and determination, this visit would become a prelude to further cooperation.”

He further stressed the necessity of a principled structure for Tehran-Budapest cooperation and interactions in economic, scientific, cultural and educational fields.

The Leader deemed the cause of many animosities and resentfulness in the world a ‘lack of correct and mutual understanding’, saying “in today’s propagandist atmosphere permeating throughout the world, facts are altered and great damage is done to humanity.”

Ayatollah Khamenei noted that Iran has launched peaceful inter-faith dialogues between Islam and Christianity, which benefits the manifestation of truth about directives of Islam.

The Leader also censured Western media for their Iranophobia campaign over the past four decades, saying such attempts are another example of the West's hypocritical approach toward the truth.

The Hungarian prime minister, who is visiting Iran with a large economic and trade delegation, said many capacities for cooperation exist in both countries.

Orbán reaffirmed the Leader’s remarks on the West’s propaganda system in misrepresenting the facts, saying “as long as Hungary was a part of revolutionary movement, we had no problem but once they realized we were planning to form a new system for building our country, they started the negative propaganda against us.”

Orbán deemed ‘population decline’, ‘loss of family values’, ‘successive economic crises’, ‘weakening of security and defense power’ as well as ‘terrorism’ the current issues facing European communities, saying such crises have compelled the West to adopt a more Eastern approach in a bid to find solutions by regaining spiritual values.
